Music Lessons

Over 30 years of instrumental music teaching experience!
Steve Klenke has over 30 years of instrumental music teaching experience. Both private lessons, and group lessons, and as a Band and Orchestra director for public schools in Chicago and suburbs. Klenke has produced award winning groups in his tenure as a public school music educator, winning first division ratings at local and state contests.

Bachelor of Music Education degree
Steve attended Northern Michigan University (music major), Berklee College of Music (performance), and graduated with honors from Elmhurst University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Steve also attended DeVry University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.

Flexible Scheduling
Klenke's style of teaching is warm and friendly but practical, teaching proper fundamentals both of playing and music reading (and theory, if interested). There is no complicated signup or monthly commitment. Take a lesson, pay for a lesson. Students can request a regular weekly timeslot for lessons, or every other week, or monthly timeslot, or take it week by week. Scheduling is flexible.

Affordable lessons
Music Lessons are held online and payment methods are flexible. An online store will be added soon. In the future, a physical location for lessons may be set up in Leander or Cedar Park, Texas. Steve does not travel to student's homes.
Cost of music lessons is $25 per half hour.
